I am a thirty something year old stay at home mom to a four year old boy and a 2 year old little girl. I am a wife of 10 years to my high school sweetheart. I live in the south by the beach. I am not a great writer and tend to ramble on for a while. So why am I sitting here at 3:45 am starting a blog? Well it started about three weeks ago Easter Sunday 2010. We woke up to my daughter throwing up. Little did we know this was the beginning of a 2 1/2 week virus that would tear through my family. As my daughter continued to get sick I realized that most of my expensive all natural, earth friendly cleaners had nothing on them about killing bacteria. Then I start thinking is this cleaner doing any good? Is it okay to have bacteria in my house? Should I really be paying $4 more for a gallon of organic 2% milk when I am just going to pour it all over Froot Loops or worse yet put chocolate syrup in it? As mothers I think we always mean well and want to do the best for our family. So I started out doing really well with the organic/all natural food and natural good for you cleaners. However here where I live they are not that easy to find in local stores, and after quiting my job I found they were not so budget friendly. So little by little I have given up. I want this blog to educate me to help learn the answers to some of my questions. Maybe just maybe we can come out a little healthier and not have to spend every penny we have doing it.
